I'm not scared of death. In my line of work, you can't let a thing like that faze you. [Another pause.] I don't actually hate him, you know. Ramuda, I mean. I think he's as human as they come. But his selfishness caused a lot of harm to others. And that, I cannot abide by. People want things all the time. But I can't imagine disregarding other people just for that alone.
Maybe it's more about...resisting the wish? Resisting temptation. To avoid the easy path, and accept that you will get what you want, but you will take the hard way to it.

I don't think kindness is only inherent, though. I worked to be kind. There are a lot of things in this world that can make someone not want to be.
