[He reaches up with his hands, tugs at the other's horns a little. His tail is still wagging, his eye almost closed with child-like delight.]
I'll just have to go with its wonderful representative.

[ The mischievous smile tells all, a story that Anaxagoras himself is certain that he knows the details of. Of a trickster priest!
He's letting out a huff or not, since he hears that tease. He will not ramble about how cute dromas are. He will not! But, he really does wish he could show him a picture, and maybe he fixated a bit on Hansa's words. He'd love to see something that gives him happiness...? And that's why... ]

[ Anaxagoras is going to get back at him. Just wait and see! He reaches for...ears. His fingers go reach for Hansa's cute wolf ears - ]

[And oh, now HIS ears are being tugged? Ouch? But that's kind of a mixture of acute discomfort and something mildly pleasurable - his tail is standing up straight as he's wincing.]
At least you have the horns... [They can't FEEL things! Hansa no longer tugs, but hes sti holding onto them, like one would a steering wheel.] Do leave my ears alone, cruel Professor!

[ Carefully settling his grip to be more gentle himself, holding them with care - how can he not have considered? Maybe if he r - ah, he realizes what he's thinking, beginning to pull his hands away.
Somehow, his heart is pounding a little, barely realizing Hansa's hands are still there. ]

[He was trying to exaggerate his reaction as a joke, but now he's hearing the other man's voice - his eye flits up, seeing the concern written all over his face. A pang throbs in his chest. It feels like how years ago, he was a child who was despondent at the fact that his fun with the other children at the church's orphanage got one of them hurt.]
No. No, it's okay. [His voice is softer now, one of his hands trying to reassuringly grasp the man's shoulder. Anaxagoras' hand are warm on these new ears. It was just a tug. Right now, it's okay.] You didn't hurt me. It was just a little uncomfortable.
[It's....maybe a little more than okay, but he is not going to think about the weird churn of feelings, here. Damn. Maybe he's more dog than wolf, here.]

I see. If that is the case, then all is well. Since you're just playing around, hm?
[ A soft admonishment as he takes note of the comforting hand on his shoulder; it surprised him a bit too, but he didn't tense, or push it off. Instead, he lets his hands stay and his fingers begin to lightly touch at those ears of the wolfdog (?) priest. ]
It is also as you have - they are quite soft, yes. Fascinating, and quite a sight - it is hard to believe they're real. Though, they do suit your temperament in a certain way.

[He doesn't move away, his eye drifting down, unsure where to look. It's almost like he's self-conscious, which is not something he's used to whatsoever. It must be something about these ears surely.]

What could it mean? Anaxagoras is only more curious to find out; although this seemed to be incurred from a slight misunderstanding, it also allowed him to see another side of Hansa he hadn't anticipated. His touch remains light and consistent all the while. ]
Many think of wolves as simply solitary beings. But they forget that they are highly sociable. As well as underneath hold a gentle nature.
...Hm, and I will not forget - a propensity towards a playfulness as well.

[The touching is continuing. Hansa is surprised to feel a little warmth, like a flame, seeping into the back of his neck.]
[He is doing his best to ignore it, instead sort of tickling behind that horn he's still holding.]

[ ...Like a dromas. Smh at this man. He sounds? A little proud of that somehow.
Anaxagoras then lets out a sudden little laugh at some point at the tickling, looking surprised, one hand going to his mouth for a second, face flushing slightly. Hansa may be blushing (?) where Anaxagoras can't see, but that isn't the case with Anaxa's face clearly slightly reddened. ]
That tickles, just so you know!
[ He clears his throat, and then does answer, one hand still consistent with the little ear rubs, or scritches, as it is called. ]
Dromas tend to be rather peaceful, relaxed beings. They are difficult to rouse into anger, for example - and in normal circumstances, anyway. Though, they can have a playful temperament depending on how they are raised. But, that too is uncommon.

[He will give him a reprieve though for a little moment to listen to his explanation, even as that warmth is spreading into his ears, now. His voice is quieter, feeling more distracted by the touch by the second. Embarrassing! That's embarrassing.]

[ Maybe the question is who is embarrassing who? But, with the way Hansa's voice is getting quieter, he's focusing right on that as well. Clearly, his actions are having an effect.
He's also about to respond to that other statement at first, but then the little scratch comes out, and a short, brief sound escapes him. It was not a laugh. Nope. It didn't cause more red to leap onto his face, either.
(It was. And, it did.) ]
Tsk. Maybe it is because of you. You're quite the wolfish troublemaker...though, you're proud of that, aren't you?
[ Sneaking one of his hands back on over to give both of those ears some more attention. ]

[God, this is demoralizing, but sort of in a very pleasurable way. This is EMBARRASSING.]
[He's throwing down a hand to put that leg down THANK YOU...even as he's tilting his head to offer him a tooth-filled smile.]

For a moment he is almost wholly distracted by the entirety of the wolfpuppy Hansa vibes is embodying all the while. It's incredible. For a small moment, his lips turn upwards, kind of - charmed? Cute...he moves one hand atop that head too for a moment.
Then, he says that. Damnit! Even his ears feel like they're burning. ]
Why would I do that? After all, you're the one being like this. Hmph, I had no idea you liked it this much.
...Yet, like this, I cannot find myself looking away.
[ He's saying this softly all the while, but also half-blurting this out because his face did unfortunately darken a tad more, feeling it burn all the while. Anaxagoras hopes it embarrasses Hansa more instead. His...strangely endearing self. ]

[That warmth isn't in his neck. It isn't in his ears. It's almost certainly found itself a home in his cheeks now, like its wanting to burn him up from the inside.]
[Hansa freezes, a little speechless as the words settle in - said like THAT - and pulls his own hands back to shelter in his lap. One hand moves to rub over his mouth as he glances away (as much as he loathes to, Anaxagoras looks stunning in that warm color), as if that could make some pitiful attempt at hiding the red in his face.]
I think this is really getting to us, haha...we need to take a breather.

[ Anaxagoras says this quickly, bringing his hands back to himself with a swiftness himself.
He's sitting there, surprised at himself.

Tsk, perhaps I was too elated by being a dromas. Perhaps...it was the animalistic nature that was the fault for us both.
[ He can even allow an out for them both, clearing his throat, looking away finally for a moment as well, because if he keeps staring...well. ]
...More importantly, what we should be doing is focusing on the dire implications of ah, our situation. There's something I probably should mention to you based upon my weekly observations, after all.

I've kept it up this week as well. I noticed now that it appears stars - or planets - dimmed, though have not decreased in number.
There is now also a swirl in the subtle shift I recognized before.

It was...the landscape of the stars itself - I believe the sky.
I imagine as time progresses, the amount of anomalies will rise. Particularly if it is evidence of a false sky.
