He simply was. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and all living things in six days, and rested on the seventh. He always existed, and will always exist.
History gets lost pretty easily. Time...the loss of important records...the fact that the victors of wars and battles often write their own tales that gets spoken of years down the road...
I'm guessing you're dealing with those sorts of factors, aren't you?
Ah, of course, because they will most certainly listen to that if only we say so! [A grand, sweeping gesture accompanies:] 'Come forth and have your false truths dismantled, your complacency exposed! All that needs be done is to cast aside the world which you believe you know!'
[A brief moment's pause, and the arm drops, with a huff of faintly bitter laughter.]
Still, with so many years you've lived...you really don't think its possible? Bring that history back which people don't realize has been gone from their lives?

[less ancient, less powerful, and less deserving, when it comes to the primals mortals know.]
You say 'has always been' the only god-- in what manner were they created, if at all?
no subject
He simply was. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and all living things in six days, and rested on the seventh. He always existed, and will always exist.
no subject
[most likely lost to time, then, just as the origins of zodiark and hydaelyn were.]
no subject
We never had tales of His creation. It is what it is.
no subject
[he will allow the possibility of the former, even if it seems- well, unlikely.]
no subject
[He's thinking of something like the Dead Sea Scrolls.]

[His smile twists up to the side.]
So curious about gods...you mentioned you have one true god where you come from?
no subject
So we do, yes. The first god of our world, by whose power it was brought back from the brink.
no subject
[Huh.]
It wasn't a flood by any chance, was it?
no subject
he shakes his head, though.]
It was not quite so simple.
[but, well- he doesn't sound inclined to go into further detail, leaving it at that for now. they're unfamiliar yet.]
no subject
[Maybe he won't pry for now. Still, sounds like something to keep in mind.]
Did you see it, though? I mean, 13,000 years old is nothing to sneeze at, unless everyone who lives in your world is naturally that long-lived.
no subject
[no yeses or nos on either front, evidently. he just waves a hand vaguely, in a motion that's a near-flourish.]
What is important is that He averted its destruction.
[only for it to exist in its broken state, but-- it exists, and so do possibilities yet.]
no subject
That would be the most important part. I guess the world is nice and happy now under your god's rule?
no subject
It could have been. As it now stands, they are content to live in ignorance.
no subject
[What's this?]
They're ignorant...of your god?
no subject
no subject
I'm guessing you're dealing with those sorts of factors, aren't you?
no subject
[but they don't need to know yet, not really. not as they are, still broken.]
no subject
There's no way to right that truth, is there? Like release a book or something proclaiming "this is the true history!" or something like that.
no subject
[A brief moment's pause, and the arm drops, with a huff of faintly bitter laughter.]
Would that it were quite that simple.
no subject
[Yeah. It isn't that simple.]
Still, with so many years you've lived...you really don't think its possible? Bring that history back which people don't realize has been gone from their lives?
no subject
[progress is progress, though, and in time-- it might all be successful.]
