[ Anaxagoras remembers this well. He seems unperturbed then that the other man is bringing up the reminder, looking up from where he lay his head against Hansa's chest.
Ah, of course, he would continuously be concerned about his wellbeing, yet...he brings back a hand to touch his cheek, smirking with confidence. ]
As for my combat ability, you're correct in your assessment. I can handle anything a magic wielder would throw at myself.
[ Anaxagoras is responding seriously, despite his obvious confidence here. ]
My wits and intelligence can be superhuman abilities because of what I am. I've even forged a Philosopher's Stone as an alchemist. I do specialize not only in the school of thought concerning souls, but ultimately working with them.
[ There is a pause, yet purposeful as he decides to be a little cheeky. ]
...As for additional superhuman capabilities, I could always make you guess right now. But, if you give myself another kiss, you can easily bypass this.
Oof. Don't tell the mages about that Philosopher's Stone, they'll be all over you like flies on honey...
[If there's anything mages are hungry for besides power, its knowledge. And Anaxagoras must be thousands of years worth of it. Damn. He really is in love with a veritable genius.]
[The mischevious request only gets him to laugh, eye creasing in amusement.]
You say this as if this is a hard price to pay. [And here comes a kiss, nibbling slightly on his lower lip.] I would pay it anytime.
I would need to spray such people with vinegar, wouldn't I?
[ But, ever is Anaxagoras so fortunate to be with a man who can appreciate him so thoroughly. He finds himself smiling slightly, when the man looks so happy when he laughs; something that never fails to warm him so. He wants Hansa to continue to look like that.
Yet he looks even more pleased when he is kissed so attentively, returning one firm, and lingering, before pulling back. ]
...Mm, equivalent exchange at its finest; I'm tempted to make you pay for every sentence, yet I do know how willing you are to make good on your word. Maybe far too much distraction would be much too soon.
So, ever since I did what I had to this body, I could see the souls of the dead with where I lost this eye. Perhaps being able to terrify people just by looking at them can be supernatural. Or freezing them in position for a short time. But, you could always consider it a normal ability as well. Oh, and loops are not exactly the only reason I "lived" a long life. [ He's a demi-god, so he ages slower than a human. ] Though, you don't have to be concerned with that.
[The kiss he receives feels just as sweet - Hansa rubs his nose against the other's with apparent delight. There's nothing better than this, it seems.]
Too soon? It sounds like you have plans.
[But putting that aside, he listens to the explanation...the souls of the dead? Freezing people with a look?]
You already freeze me when looking at me. [Hehehe.] Sounds interesting. Are you implying you're still going to look so young and beautiful when I'm all wrinkled years from now? I'm a lucky guy.
[ Hansa, has anyone asked why you are so sweet? Anaxagoras is tempted to throw logic out the window at every little spot of affection the man gives to him - but, when he mentions he may have plans...well, he doesn't imagine sporting an innocent look will do him favors.
Instead the gaze in one mischievous dual-colored eye seems to convey "Perhaps so," with all the heated intention of an affirmation. Another kiss to Hansa's cheek to seal it with certainty. ]
I'll have to say that I imagine you will age like fine wine. With each and every year that passes, each change will simply be something more for myself to admire. This is going to be nothing else other than an irrefutable fact.
Let us make sure to record our most special moments and even mundane. It's a shame I don't have a single photo of you as of yet.
[ There's a pause, and Anaxagoras isn't certain whether this is the right time for this, but he doesn't gloss over heavy matters, either. So he also states with something more of a serious tone, fingers caressing the other male's cheek gently: ]
...Though, that being said, if you have any concerns about what I plan to do when you pass, you can feel free to let me know.
[Alhaitham had brought up marriage before. Hansa still felt like he was stumbling like a just-born fawn into this kind of world, and marriage seemed like this vague cloud on the horizon. He didn't think that far. He saw too many a drunken marriage in Las Vegas, anyways, that seemed as ephemeral as mayflies. Perhaps an insult to the institution of marriage, but he never thought much else than that.]
[But here, with this exciting and passionate love, he and Anaxagoras are already talking about the future. About growing old. About living life hand in hand. It makes a different kind of heat shift in his chest, both overwhelming and satisfying.]
[Anaxagoras won't leave him, won't he?]
[Perhaps that teasing statement by Alhaitham seems more real by the second.]
I definitely want photos of you for sure. And...already thinking that far, huh. [He never thought in solid terms about his own mortality. Executors always knew that they could face off an enemy that could overpower them and win - it was always a real possibility. Hansa rocks them a little in the embrace, smiling against the man's lips.] You see the dead, right? I don't have any real concerns other than wanting to maybe haunt you a bit. I would make a pretty good ghost.
[ Is Hansa going to overthrow government for him? Anaxagoras would be touched. He'd also help, of course.
...but, truthfully, Anaxagoras would do anything to spend a future with Hansa. It's why he aimed for the miracle that he had. That he relentlessly pursued with every fiber of his being in his own way.
He wonders, if perhaps, this too is a result of it among the list of everyone's efforts, to boot. But, to be blunt, he was so happy, he never bothered to ask nor confirm. Perhaps careless of him...yet, therein may be another reason why he was saddled with the titled "Anaxagoras the Foolish"
A reasonable man so foolishly in love... ]
I can't help it, I suppose.
Of course, I always tend to think ahead. But, with you, it is because I don't want to miss a single thing; not one chance or opportunity with you. [ His voice slips in emotion as he feels Hansa move them gently in the embrace, and...why is he getting like this? He closes one eye, just feeling Hansa's presence. Here, against his body, their lips close together. All-encompassing. ] I hate thinking about you passing away, in truth. But, I had already accepted that. Perhaps I will find a way for you to always see myself from the beyond.
...Though, even in death, I will make sure I find my way to you.
But, before then, we should perhaps be talking about the multitude of plans we have to make even with the threat of war. Even if all we need is each other, I want to make a myriad mementos, symbols of love. Everything that has shown we existed [ Important for a man who was once at a time even seen as something to be "deleted" with a click of a button. ], and all the things we did together will not disappear even a thousand years after our lives have come and gone.
I want my final life to be imbued with the man who made me truly realize the joy of living; who loves me for all that I am. To be instilled as a permanent fixture of history.
[ Searching for the truth made him filled with endless excitement and purpose. But, finding love made him feel fulfilled. ]
[Perhaps that's what it means to be a demigod. To be what Anaxagoras was, for so long. Hansa lives in there here and now, the sorrows of his past put to rest, the future shining on the horizon. Anaxagoras lives in all times, and after everything, he, too, was living in the present. Listlessly on his end, sure it would end. And then, as far as he's said, Hansa opened that up for him. Gave him a horizon to look on, and to live in.]
[He treats Hansa and their love like that of a grand epic. It's a little overwhelming. Hansa only ever saw himself as a man. He may have been a bit special, with his upbringing and role, but it wasn't as if he wandered in the fields of God.]
[He chuckles a little bit, hand rubbing over the man's upper back.]
You want them to make memorials in our name? Big ask. But I like the ambition, there. [Another peck of a kiss on his upper cheek.] I want to...experience everything with you. All of life's little joys and mysteries. I don't...like thinking about your "final life" and all. But if I'll make it shine, I'll do it to every inch of me.
[A proper kiss, one hand cupping over the other's neck.]
[ The Epic Romance of the Executor Hansa and Blasphemous Anaxagoras...
A story that would make the church keel over just by hearing the title alone.
Though, there is a splendid irony, isn't it? Perhaps neither of them wandered in any fields of a "God" per say, but they will walk through a many hand-in-hand eventually. Or wherever their feet take them in the future.
That touch, and each lingering kiss feels like it brings that wonderful future ever closer. It is no surprise he looks pleased, eye twinkling as he leans into each spot of affection, shifting both hands to smooth against the other male's cheeks, to the back of that midnight hair. ]
Every inch of you, hm? Hahahaha! I never thought that you would restrain yourself to as not spoil myself with such devotion. Yet, hearing you utter such words fills myself with an unending tide of emotion.
You are my everything. Let the world and universe know for all time...
...You included, naturally.
[ A gentle kiss against his nose as he leans up, soft smile on his face. ]
Although, I am curious - when we return to your world, do you believe we will be able to sneak away time to ourselves for some personal enjoyment, or do you suspect you will need to immediately jump into your obligations first?
[Just trying to match him! Man, though, he needs to brush up on his poetry. Anaxagoras makes him feel like he needs to step it up, big time. Maybe he should get a statue commissioned.
[The kiss on his nose tickles - he scrunches it up a little, grinning brightly - but the question is more down to earth.]
[He heaves an exaggerated sigh.]
Alas, most likely we'll be in the thick of things when we get back. The Grail War isn't going to stop for little old me, and it's already a mess and a half. [Buuuuuut-] If it ends in short time, then I would be happy to sneak away with you anywhere.
[A little laugh.]
It does make us sound like naughty teens, though. Sneaking away for personal time.
[ Anaxagoras lets out another laugh, a little bit quieter this time when he says what he does, though still a bit more sharp like he finds actual amusement - and delight in how Hansa says 'so there' after his affectionate words. ]
Oh?
[ Though, he's committing to memory silly things already like Hansa scrunching his nose up a tad. He wants to catch it between his fingers - but then he tries to focus on matters that are more serious (he's the one who brought it up! It is truly so unfortunate that "ridiculous" is a true contagion.) And speaking on those matters... ]
I should devise a method to immediately have this so-called Grail War cancel itself out. That would be an interesting way to spend my time; a perfect challenge for someone with a mind like my own. Then, we can sneak away wherever we so please at any point.
...I don't mind being considered 'naughty', either. There is a certain excitement to slipping away like some kind of mischievous young one. [ A smirk, as he says the rest with purposeful irony: ] Of course, we all know who would be the most responsible for being an irresistible influence, leading such a person like myself from the straight and narrow, hm?
...all the while acting so charming (cute? that's cute) to boot, winking like that. Is it any wonder he fell so hard for such a ridiculous man? One who would dare to poke him all the while, making him let a soft sound, and throw a look. ]
Ridiculous.
[ He huffs softly and pokes at a cheek, indulging in some playfulness. He has learned poking at Hansa's sides does not net sufficient reaction; Hansa truly brings out so much in him, nonsensical side included. ]
...Without you, I could never ever even dare to think of what my tomorrow might look like, and become convinced it could be so bright; that it could be shared with another. What I was compelled by before this point perhaps was not nearly enough.
Which is why I needed someone like you all along, yet hadn't realized it. A Blasphemer led astray from his shadowed path by a holy man.
[ His gaze is warm as he takes in the handsome man in front of him (maybe wondering what he'd look like with pom-poms? Nah.) There are still other things Hansa will need to tackle from what he understands. He hopes Hansa remembers he can depend on him in turn, even in a world so foreign to him. With this thought, his expression turns soft, yet contemplative, and he nuzzles his head against into that chest. ]
We both let each other stray from our path. But my, what a blessing that turned out to be.
[In every sense of the word. From their well adventure to now, it all feels like they were entwining with each other, unable to let doubts and fears take control. Truly, it was fated. A miracle.]
[That they are both alive, and well, and have a solid footing in that near future.]
I am ridiculous. And I like messing around. But now I know that makes you happy.
[He's pressing an affectionate kiss on the top of his head.]
Anything to see you smile. Or blush.
[And a little whisper, like a naughty boy confessing a secret.]
Like our little time in the sitting room. You were a gorgeous color.
[ A blessing...the word makes Anaxagoras let out a brief chuckle at the irony; a miracle to flat out blasphemy - it is the type of "blessing" that would make most god-fearing men cringe, and gods recoil in offense. Thus, he can't help it as a sharper smile curls its way across his lips.
It is no wonder they had fit so well; and just like that, those words spoken to him make his face grow hot. A special but knowing call out, for him - and, the kiss placed atop his head is just one piece of evidence among many of their miraculous love. ]
Tsk...it is said that bold truths can be spoken of others only by one who earnestly knows them. Fortunately also for you, who else could have gotten away with admiring the scenery but yourself?
But, how about a sudden test question, hm? Do you believe I'm blushing so vibrantly now, Hansa? Like how I was in the sitting room. Or, perhaps, simply smiling?
[ Or both? He's doing both now...against his better judgment he would playfully say, even if it were not true.
Indeed, Anaxagoras asking such a question is naturally playing into the little fun games they enact with one another. But, this tendency is not new to his loved one, he knows. ]
Ooh! My Professor is quizzing me so suddenly! I hope I get a passing grade!
[He says with as much enthusiasm as an eager elementary school kid, though just as suddenly, his tone is sliding down into a deeper range. Hansa moves in decisively, smiling as he presses his lips against the other's once more.]
I think...its both. I can feel the heat from your skin.
[He won't draw back yet, sucking a little on that precious lower lip like he has to make a signature. Hansa finds his hands move, almost unbidden, to grasp a little into the cloth like they need to feel the bare skin below.]
[He had an appreciation for beauty before. Like that of a museum goer to spectate from a distant room. He still appreciates beauty now, but here...]
[This man really did strike some sort of hot little match in him, frightening and exciting all at once. Hansa chuckles, his own cheeks alight with color.]
[ Anaxagoras lets himself melt into the kiss, turning his head ever so slightly as his single eye flutters a little. Hansa can see it clearly now, he knows, just like this.
But, his hands shift, fingers tangling all the while in the black curly mane of hair, one eye gazing into Hansa's. His tone sends something pleasant through him, and so do those wandering hands that do halt, to hold onto him tightly.
All that sends a thrill that lingers even when the kiss has its temporary parting. He already wants another - it drives him wild how much Hansa appreciates him in all of the ways.
Seeing the way Hansa's cheeks are flushed, he imagines it is the same for the other man as well. ]
You did. Hmph, though the way you came at me like that, sweeping myself up with as always a dedicated approach...
[ A simple kiss, he tells himself. He won't go overborad - and he lifts up to press his lips against Hansa's, wanting to sink against the taller man. Yet, it is doubtless passionate, and heated, even if he forces himself away, face indeed as flushed as it was then (but it was already prior to this.) ]
...Don't tell me you were looking for some extra credit?
I wouldn't even call it dedicated. I would call it passionate.
[Just as he intended - there's that gorgeous sight he saw in the sitting room. Not to say that Anaxagoras isn't a sight, always. He wonders, just how could he have been without someone in his life for so long? Even he would sing his praises for hours. It feels unbelievable, to think that no one wanted to have a taste of this sweet Professor, too.]
[He loves the way the man's slender hands pull through his hair - like a forest he must sift through to find his way out. He loves everything. The look, the touch, those whispered words.]
[An apple by any other name still tastes just as sweet.]
What can I say? [Hansa is appreciatively letting his teeth nip the edge of the other's nose.] I'm an overachiever.
[And his laugh bubbles out of him.]
...Either way, however you want to celebrate our success today. I'm all yours. In every sense of the word. What you want to do is what I want to do. I will follow my dutiful teacher no matter the lesson plan.
[ Is that a little surprised noise at the nip? Perish the thought.
Though, call him sweet outloud and he'll still fluster with ease, Hansa. But, here they are, at the end of things, having the opportunity to grasp a hold of the fact that everything has worked out well. And...as expected, it's turn out into a session of in-depth expression of their deep love for one another. ]
A troublesome passionate overachiever. Hmm...that does sound about right, for you.
[ A slight tease rises up to his voice all the while, but ever so gladdened for it...it is one of Hansa's many charm points.
He has to think for a moment, how he wants to celebrate. Anaxagoras likes to still envision he is a reasonable, logical man. But he can be unreasonable, and abandon traditional logic. This Professor wants to do that so very badly right now, and so he is drawing his face closer to Hansa's once more. First, planting another kiss, and this time deciding to bite down on his lower lip himself (vengeance?), playfully, before pulling back to nuzzle against the other man's neck. ]
...Be aware that the lesson plan is unusual. It is one that deviates from the norm. It involves venturing topics beyond reason. Passion. Devotion. Love. Naturally, all part of a celebration via going off the rails, and leaving marks as each other's reward.
That's me. Compared to my grumpy cute little professor in my arms.
[Sorry, sorry, he has to keep teasing. This is the best part of his day. Being around Anaxagoras is the best part of his day. Heck, even looking at him is the best part of his day.]
[It stuns him how his feelings never waver. They only feel stronger. That flustered crush he had before has grown into something far sturdier, more powerful.]
[Which may be why his blush comes so quickly to fill his face when the man continues to talk, his lower lip smarting from the bite. What an overwhelming feeling. Anaxagoras really knows how to say things to make him weak in the knees.]
Those are some heavy topics, Professor. [His voice is a little awkward, but the tone is eager. His own nose presses against the other's head, mouth sighing into his hair.] But I'll follow it. I want to see a field of golden flowers like before...
[He pauses, letting the words sit, before continuing.]
Maybe we should...find a place for this plan of yours.
[ Wow! Anaxagoras can't believe this absolute slander upon his person - alright, he certainly knows it is the furthest thing from it.
Though, despite the fact he definitely heard the tease in there, enough to have made him make a face at one point (he is not pouting, that is a term for far less sophisticated individuals), it is the blush adorning Hansa's face that always makes him wish he can frame it. Or...take a photo.
Which, wait, he can do that now, can't he? He's distracted momentarily from the thought when the other man brings himself even closer, and talks about golden flowers. Now who is making the one blush? ]
Find a place?
[ Oh. Right, yes. It is ironic that Hansa is the person to actually say it and Anaxagoras is the one who tries to recall it, but forgets such things in a heartbeat. Well, it's all a part of who he is. ]
...A private building - no, a room? Perfect for you to make that sight of golden flowers come to life before your very eyes. [ Then, a slight tease of his own, like the suggestion he just made a few moments before was not his: ] Hmph, I knew when you had a glimpse you would desire to make them bloom as soon as you could once more...
I like beautiful things. I like making my mark on beautiful things.
[One of his hands shifts, threading through that vibrant green hair, before letting a finger curl around some strands as he murmurs low so only the man can hear.]
Besides, I might be a student...
[In more ways than one. Even as much as he is eager, determined, these are still uncharted waters. He's gone through troubled seas with the other, even learned how to ease that swelling of guilt that likes to show itself at thoughts that are becoming so much more commonplace. But now comes a new nervous little iceburg called inexperience. He doesn't know much of what he's doing.]
[But...]
[His fingertip moves closer, tickling alongside the edge of the man's neck.]
But I know what I want. And I have a Professor to show me...what he likes out of my presentation. Step by step.
[...His voice dips lower, teeth trailing alongside the edge of the man's lower lip.]
Besides. I haven't seen all of you yet. And while I'm at it. I just want to say that I was glad we didn't have a trial that week. I want those golden flowers to be for my eyes alone, you know.
[ Anaxagoras feels his heart pound heavily in his head as his face flushes in the face of such sentiment. He wants to cover it, when he says those things...but, he wants him to say even more words of that nature. It still feels like an incredibly embarrassingly novel feeling - and he doubts that will ever really change.
Perhaps that is why he doesn't hide his head, even with those light, affectionate touches, and the way his voice pitches lower for only him. Anaxa feels transfixed, like he's about to throw himself to the wind.
For all of this being so very new to one another, Anaxagoras concludes one irrefutable fact:
That both of them are talented at driving the other mad. ]
Hansa...are you certain you haven't learned how to be tempting yourself, hm? Or perhaps talented in making a Professor overcome with your well-targeted words.
Ah, you're correct you haven't seen all of myself just yet. Fortunate for my devoted student, I have wanted you to see myself bare - to mark every inch of this body that you possibly can.
A sight full of gold for you and you alone.
...And, perhaps to lay that hand of yours where it has not yet explored before. Wouldn't it be interesting? To delve into the chaotic unknown - that uncharted portion of this very lesson. Haven't you been curious, about that center point lying before your very eyes?
[ Anaxagoras opens his mouth as he says this, because with the way the man had been paying close attention to his lower lip again, it is any surprise that he covers Hansa's lips in another kiss?
Passionate, lingering, open-mouthed. They'll certainly get to their private spot soon enough, but he just can't help himself. ]
[He loves it. These little moments where he can say something and see the man's mind go wild. Like he's powerful enough to redirect him, distract him, overwhelm him in the best of ways. He wants to keep surprising Anaxagoras like this for a lifetime.]
I've learnt a lot. And I have learned how to say all the right things to get my Professor to pay attention to only me.
[He asked before if Anaxagoras was his, and he was answered that he was. He isn't possessive - he really doesn't think so - but here and now, he is more than happy to know that he is the lucky one to have this all to himself. Every inch of him belongs to this man who keeps saying things that make him feel like his brain is liable to drain out his ears.]
I'm the most curious guy you know.
[Which means that is a yes. He does want to explore. He sighs happily into the kiss, soaking in its warmth before he dips his tongue as a key to a lock, his hands covetous over his curves. He wants to drink the man in like he's a cool glass of water. How funny, that he does the opposite.]
[ Hansa being who he is can manage miracles upon someone like Anaxa, in a way like no other. If anyone had asked if Anaxagoras would ever feel inclined towards someone like this at all before all of this, he would have told them that they were a fool for even thinking him capable of it. For thinking anyone would willingly fall for a man like him in the first place.
He would have been a fool, too, for saying it.
The words Hansa speak ultimately find purchase, always resonating with him. Always... so, when that tongue slips in, hands wandering over him - those curves - like a man desperate like one stranded in a desert without water, Anaxagoras feels electric, leaning into him - against him as it deepens. A soft noise escapes him, caught up in the moment.
When he pulls back ever so slightly, he's already licking his own lips. ]
When did you become such a wordsmith? From all of those previous lessons?
[ Anaxagoras' face is unsurprisingly flushed, but in a way that is always pleasant whenever he is around Hansa. Even his words, poised to sound like in his usual tone, run with an undercurrent of something like satisfaction that Hansa would utter such things.
His hands move so that they are against Hansa's back nonetheless, and he tilts upwards so he can go ahead to aim for sneaking a little, light bite at where he sees that skin showing on the other male's neck. ]

...Though, even in death, I will make sure I find my way to you.

You deserve it.
no subject
Although, I am curious - when we return to your world, do you believe we will be able to sneak away time to ourselves for some personal enjoyment, or do you suspect you will need to immediately jump into your obligations first?
no subject
Sneaking away for personal time.
no subject
[ A smirk, as he says the rest with purposeful irony: ] Of course, we all know who would be the most responsible for being an irresistible influence, leading such a person like myself from the straight and narrow, hm?
no subject
[He winks.]
[It looks like a blink.]
Plus, I'm a great motivator. As you have just said. I can turn any straighy-laced Blasphemer into someone who enjoys the twists and turns of life.
[He really will be acting as the hot cheerleader, huh....not that he minds that much.]
...Who makes the Blasphemer blaspheme? Hehe. [A little poke to the side with a finger.] Me, I guess!
no subject
...all the while acting so charming (cute? that's cute) to boot, winking like that.
One who enjoys messing around, at that.
no subject
[In every sense of the word. From their well adventure to now, it all feels like they were entwining with each other, unable to let doubts and fears take control. Truly, it was fated. A miracle.]
[That they are both alive, and well, and have a solid footing in that near future.]
I am ridiculous. And I like messing around. But now I know that makes you happy.
[He's pressing an affectionate kiss on the top of his head.]
Anything to see you smile. Or blush.
[And a little whisper, like a naughty boy confessing a secret.]
Like our little time in the sitting room. You were a gorgeous color.
no subject
no subject
Did I get it right, Professor? I hope I did.
no subject
Yet, it is doubtless passionate, and heated, even if he forces himself away, face indeed as flushed as it was then (but it was already prior to this.) ]
...Don't tell me you were looking for some extra credit?
no subject
I will follow my dutiful teacher no matter the lesson plan.
no subject
Passion. Devotion. Love. Naturally, all part of a celebration via going off the rails, and leaving marks as each other's reward.
no subject
Maybe we should...find a place for this plan of yours.
no subject
[ Then, a slight tease of his own, like the suggestion he just made a few moments before was not his: ] Hmph, I knew when you had a glimpse you would desire to make them bloom as soon as you could once more...
no subject
I want those golden flowers to be for my eyes alone, you know.
no subject
no subject
How funny, that he does the opposite.]
no subject
