[That was... a mess, to say the least, but seeing the kids have to see a cute friendly detective animal be stabbed to death in front of them can't be that easy to deal with. So when he does see Mob in the lobby, he does pause, looking down at him with some level of concern.]
I apologize, but let me turn that question around. If a person kills another person, should they receive the same in turn? There's no right answer. I just want to hear what you feel.
I suppose, but that stands if you think there's nothing for a person after they die. In the religon I stand for, there's a heaven, and there's a hell. There's also a purgatory, for those souls who want to get to heaven, but must work hard to redeem themselves.
week 0 after trial
...How are you holding up?

Mm. He was even younger than I am, but he killed both of them.

[Yeah, he was, wasn't he? Hansa lets out a low sigh.]
Sometimes, people grow up in different situations that teach them different things. To him, killing might have been a natural part of his life.
no subject
[He considers that for a long, silent moment, and then nods.]
I see. Then he never had anyone to tell him not to.
no subject
[If he did before, would he have found out more, before this all happened...?]
But sometimes, people don't know all of their options. He probably went with what he felt he had to do.
no subject
[Is he going to elaborate on that? Apparently no.]
I can't really feel angry at someone like that. Even though I'm angry that Hajime and Pikachu had to get hurt.
no subject
I'm angry, too. Killing innocents is never right. Whatever happens to him tomorrow...he'll have to answer for a lot in the eyes of the Lord.

I apologize, but let me turn that question around. If a person kills another person, should they receive the same in turn? There's no right answer. I just want to hear what you feel.
no subject
Why? Why should they? If a person is dead, then they won't have the chance to regret any of it, or change. Isn't that true?
no subject
...Do you think there's an afterlife, Shigeo?
no subject
[. . . ]
There's ghosts.
no subject
[Ah, yes, didn't he say he could exorcise evil spirits?]
Are they actually people? Or are they spirits?
no subject
[He doesn't really know? And Dimple was part of his memloss, so he doesn't even have the easy example of a spirit he considers a friend.]
I'm not sure about that. A person who dies might become one, but they aren't the same as a living person.
no subject
I see. So...they're more like remnants, I assume.
no subject
That could be it.
