Oh, you know, became a teenager again, ran a relay race in high school, you know how it is.

Oh, physically. All my cyborg parts were gone, too.

Huh. That have anything to do with those weird flesh gloves you've got on? They look hideous, by the way.

Not at all. These are what I usually wear. My usual uniform as a priest has long sleeves, so nobody notices. But here, they put me in a t-shirt, and well...

Why even bother keeping the gloves on at all? Everyone knows about the cyborg thing now, right?

Because these shorts don't have pockets.

So? You could just throw them out.

Why? It's not like they sell these sorts of things in every store. I had them personally made for me.

What's the point of keeping them when everyone already knows you're a cyborg though?

Haha, well, if things work out and we get to go back to where we came from...that's a different story, yeah? The Church would have my head.

Ugh, right. [ rolls his eyes ] Didn't you say they were the ones who turned you into a cyborg in the first place? What's the point in doing that at all if you're just gonna make them hide it anyway?

Just--at least take them off and tuck them into your waistband or something.
