[There's a challenging sort of look in his eyes, glimmering with amusement.]

[ Oh well if you're gonna look at him with THAT look on your face, then he's not gonna rest until he figures this out ]

[He barks out a laugh.]

Scared? [And then a pause.] I just think you'll be scared of me, actually.

[ Raises a single eyebrow. ]

Oh, I'm just a cyborg that was made to rip apart demons with my bare hands.

[He says it with as much sincerity as he did the lies he said before. Hansa,]

[ What does it say about him that that genuinely almost makes more sense to him than the other options beforehand.

Vezda eyes him up and down, as if he can somehow verify this on sight. ]

...What parts?

[ Because, well, Hansa's head is definitely flesh and bone. So the cyborg bits would have to be somewhere. ]

[Just casually:]

Oh, arms and legs. Pelvis. Pretty much most of my abdomen. Teeth. Ribs. I'm seventy percent metal.

[ He'll just stand there absorbing this information for a few seconds...

And then lunge forward lightning-fast to try smacking a hand against one of his arms. Is there gonna be a telltale clang noise? ]

[Surprisingly, Hansa doesn't move when the man rushes towards him. And, no its just a normal human arm and doesn't make any noise..........oh, who am I kidding. It sure gives off a clang!]

[Hansa's mouth widens into a grin, but he doesn't say anything.]

Huh. Alright. [ He nods, as if he's approving of something. ]

Why all the caginess, then? It's just a few metal parts. [ He holds his left arm up for emphasis. ]

"Alright"? Goodness, way to make me feel like I'm just a passing sideshow. You wound me.

[He says, of course, sarcastically.]

A few? Most of my body's metal. [And he lets out a long-suffering sigh. Yeah. Might as well just say it.] It IS technically a Church secret. And then on top of that, how do you think people will react? "Oh, yes, we'll just overlook the cyborg that we might get paranoid about because we think that he could hurt people with his cyborg strength"? I mean, I like this body. But I don't want people pointing fingers at me for it anytime soon.

So what? Half the people here showed up with weapons from home that they could hurt people with. Just look at Virid. Plus, none of us can use any powers, including cyborg strength. My arm's a lot weaker than normal here. If anyone points fingers at you, they might as well point fingers at me.

[robopriest]

[Just. Glances off to the side.]

Yeah, about the strength...technically, that's just me? [AND THEN A SIGH wow why do you have to make sense, Bucky.] Anyways, its hard to compare you and me. You've just got an arm. That's hardly very much.

Oh, we're gonna play cyborg suffering olympics now?

I'm still not seeing a difference here. Big whoop, so you've got a bit more metal than I do. If someone wants to find us suspicious for it, it's not gonna make a difference. That's their problem.

If you like what you've got, then don't hide it. Otherwise, you're just letting a bunch of assholes run your life.

[ He gets progressively closer to Hansa as he talks until eventually he's within range to poke him in the chest for emphasis. ]

It's supposed to be a Church secret, Buck- uh, Vezda.

[He exhales through his nose, obviously irritated, but he's distracted by the man getting into his personal space. His gaze flits down - the man should definitely feel that its nothing but solid as he pokes him.]

...But fine. You have a point. Too many people have already found this out. And most of us come from different worlds already. [He shakes his head.] Funny, didn't think I'd get a weird cyborg pep talk from you, of all people.

Me neither. I've never had to deal with someone being so dense about it before.

...but that's another thing. How the hell is being a cyborg supposed to be a church secret? What've they got to do with it?

[robopriest]

Oh, please.

[He frowns.]

They're the ones who gave me this body. It is packed with gadgets and weapons of all kinds. I'm basically a walking talking weapon of mass destruction.

[frostythehitman]

The church did that? Damn, the church must be insanely powerful where you are. It's usually governments or mad scientists who do that where I'm from.

[robopriest]

It has some of the best technology of the world, yes. [And a light shrug.] And that's exactly the point. The government, greedy as they are, would have their heads burst if they knew what the Church was keeping from them.
