[He stares in Hansa's rough direction before turning around to toe his way out of the water. He will.]

[robopriest]

Hey. Hey, now. stubbornness will only get you so far. That was meant to dissuade you.

[hansa: binch?]

Can I get you out of the range of the waterfall, at least?

[soulus]

[At first, he continues to inch his way to the bank on the other side. After several steps' worth of distance, he stops. The rushing of water fills the silence as he neglects to answer.]

[Yeah, he's striding up to the man.]

Are you just planning to do this all day?

[soulus]

Yes. There are more places to explore.

Week 3: Sunday

[soulus]

[Rufus doesn't seek Hansa out, and the reverse is most probably true. Their paths cross on the way between buildings, though, and Rufus—now that he's able to see, and with fresh dressing around his arm to boot—stops to look at Hansa.

Thankfully, he managed to ditch the monkey a while back. For now, it's just them.]

[robopriest]

...Rufus?

[And he instantly looks down at the arm. He saw it during trial, but...]

Hey. Long time, no see.

[soulus]

[The stump is wrapped in a fresh set of dressings—as is his left hand.]

Ten years, was it?

week 4 wednesday morning

[robopriest]

[Well, aren't these bubbles troublesome? Hansa is grumbling as he tries to avoid them, twisting out of the way of them, before he suddenly turns - right into you!]

Oh! Oh, sorry, I-

[And then a bubble pops against you - and a memory suddenly appears, featuring a boy with a characteristic mole under his left eye that might seem familiar...]

[And when that's done, Hansa just lets out a groan.]

Why does this keep happening...

[soulus]

[When that's done, Rufus takes a step back for the sake of personal space and refrains from commenting on what he just witnessed.]

Isn't that obvious? It's the Realm's doing.

[robopriest]

Well, duh.

[And a sigh.]

It seems like that's a favorite memory. Don't know why...though, I guess its nice to see Bishop Dilo again, in a way.

[soulus]

You still remember that much?

[robopriest]

Why wouldn't I? It was the thing that changed my life.

[says hansa, in a memloss game,]

It's still a memory. You've forgotten other things.

[robopriest]

Of course I have. Like apparently I'm a priest? Don't know what's up with that.

You were taken in by a bishop. Is it that strange?

[robopriest]

Well, it actually was a priest who took me in, but...somehow, I just don't remember anything relating to being part of the clergy.

It's like its...blank. And I guess that's the Realm's doing.

[soulus]

Yes. The distortion is still at work and disrupting the flow of nova.

[robopriest]

You don't need to tell me that, twice.

[A low sigh.]

Anyway, I guess you can see what kind of rascal I was as a kid.
